The Wine Primer

The Wine Primer is very much a work in progress. It has evolved from a series of newspaper columns, through a relatively random collection of educational topics, to its current state as a primer on the basics of wine. My hope is that it will eventually evolve into a book, albeit a short one.

Regardless of format, the objective is to enhance the enjoyment of the casual, but serious wine drinker. The challenge is to deliver just the right about of content, with just the right degree of technicality (is that really a word?) and with just the right about amount of entertainment value to hold the reader.
